Madison McCullough

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW

My goal as a therapist is to create a supportive environment for those who have been marginalized because of their gender and sexuality. Perhaps you identify as queer, bisexual, lesbian, gay, pansexual, asexual, trans, nonbinary, agender, poly, kinky, something else, everything, and/or nothing at all. You deserve to have a space where you can explore the different parts of yourself without judgment. As a queer person who has sought out my own therapy, I know how difficult it can be to find an affirming therapist. Even if your identity isn’t central to your therapeutic goals, know that every part of you will be affirmed in our work.

Once the primary work is done and symptoms are under control, I help individuals along the next steps of the journey to build or rebuild a life, find a voice, and rediscover a sense of dignity and self.
With the relationship at the center of treatment, I use a range of modalities tailored to the individual's needs, preferences, and style, including IFS, Harm Reduction, DBT, and psychodynamic models. Employing a unique combination of warmth, empathy, creativity, and humor, I help guide people toward realizing that recovery is real.
