Suzanne Pasette

Art Therapist, LCAT

Hello! I am a NY State Licensed Creative Arts Therapist. For over a decade, I have worked with children, adolescents and adults individually and in group settings.

Although trained as a Creative Arts Psychotherapist I consider myself to be an integrationist and thus draw upon multiple theories to help create a holistic person-centered approach to treatment.

Kate Kirschner

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LMSW, MFA

As a psychotherapist, I work with parents throughout the life cycle using an integrative approach combining Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, and psychodynamics to feel more grounded, calm, and confident as they navigate the challenges of life, particularly those brought up through parenting. I specialize in perinatal mental health, including anxiety, depression, pregnancy and labor trauma, infertility, grief, and loss. The transition to becoming a parent is one of the biggest, most monumental shifts we undertake in our lifetimes, and yet most of us receive the message that we should innately know what to do. I provide a warm, judgement-free space to explore all the feelings, fears, and frustrations that come up at each stage developmental stage, as well as offer parent coaching to face specific behavioral challenges.

Lesley Alderman

Jane Dorlester

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, R-LCSW

As a certified Alexander Technique teacher and somatic therapist I use touch to help clients learn skills to self regulate. This integrative technique helps to access non-verbal developmental traumas not easily accessed through traditional talk therapy.
I also offer group bereavement sessions to process the loss of a loved one.

Ayla Sitt

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in using cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy to help individuals struggling with anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, low self-esteem, and perinatal issues. I enjoy helping people effectively cope with difficult life transitions and most recently have enjoyed focusing on women's health issues, especially perinatal issues and the transition to motherhood. I believe in working collaboratively with my clients to help them develop and work towards their goals, with a focus on building a more satisfying and rewarding life.

My approach is active, compassionate and goal oriented. My areas of expertise include relationships, couples therapy, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, learning, and career development. Each session is focused, goal directed, and collaborative to set the stage for transforming personal narratives and behavior patterns. I guide clients to overcome obstacles/blind spots and shift in positive and proactive ways to improve their relationships and to experience well being. In my 3 decades of clinical experience, I have had the joy of witnessing many clients become more purposeful, creative, and productive in their lives.

Barbra Waldfogel

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice with 27 years of experience in both clinical and administrative services in child welfare and mental health.

I specialize in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for older teens and adults. During the pandemic I offer tele-therapy via Zoom. Length of treatment averages about 6 to 9 months. This is a trans-diagnostic model of treatment, meaning the focus is on improving psychological flexibility and expanding behavioral repertoires through process based change.

I use ACT to address pain and suffering with warmth, compassion, humor and a search for meaning. This I do just as much for my clients as for myself.
