Jennifer Kenny

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

I am a Nurse Practitioner of Psychiatry and the founder of Nested Perinatal Psychiatry. I offer specialized medication management to preconception, pregnant and postpartum women in both CT and NY. I have extensive training and experience providing specialized mental health care to women across the reproductive lifespan, including both psychotherapy and medication management at Columbia University Women's Mental Health team, embedded within The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Brooklyn Parent Support, and training at Zucker Hillside Hospital in the Department of Perinatal Psychiatry.

Karen Gelder

Psychologist, Ph.D., Ed.M., M.A.

I am a licensed psychologist specializing in the treatment of disordered eating and body image concerns, as well as issues related to women's health, pregnancy, miscarriage, and adjustment to significant life transitions such as parenthood, work-family balance, college, career change, and loss. I believe a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship is essential in the facilitation of healing, and the process of growth and change. I employ an integrative method, drawing from various theoretical understandings and treatment modalities, to develop an effective approach to address distinct needs.
Additionally, I believe the consideration of multicultural and social factors to be central to the understanding of individual concerns. My style is warm and engaged, aimed at both reducing symptoms and increasing insight into interpersonal patterns, and past influences on current functioning.
As a native Spanish speaker, I also bring extensive experience working bilingually in hospital, college, and private practice settings. In addition to individual psychotherapy, I offer consultation to parents and families on various topics related to child and adolescent development, preparing for the transition to college, and eating and body image concerns.

Paula Lamanna

Paula Lamanna, LCSW, CASAC (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker, credentialed alcoholism and substance use counselor, Level III EMDR provider, certified yoga teacher and certified psychedelic-assisted therapy provider. Paula received her master’s degree from New York University. She received her post-graduate certifications from The Integrative Psychiatry Institute and the Parnell Institute for EMDR.

Nicole Tammelleo

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MA, LCSW-R

I have a holistic view of therapy and use a strengths-based approach often incorporating humor and mindfulness techniques to engage with my clients. I believe that every individual possesses the capacity to make positive life changes and that these changes can occur when individuals feel understood, safe and challenged to explore new ways of thinking about their experiences.
My specialties include healthy sexuality and reproductive health. I have worked in the field of sexuality for over 15 years. In addition, I have worked with survivors of violence, including sexual abuse and intimate partner violence. There is help for everyone, and I look forward to working with you on your healing journey.

Zoey Phillips

Psychologist, Ph.D.

I am a psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment for adolescents and adults with a variety of mental health conditions including anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and OCD. I also work with individuals who struggle with self-harming behaviors, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, addiction, relationship problems, and with caregivers of youth who have behavioral challenges and/or are neurodiverse. Modalities of treatment include DBT, CBT, ERP for OCD, TF-CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), prolonged exposure therapy for trauma, and parent management training (PMT).

Gina Della Penna

Providing teletherapy to individuals (18 yo +) in NY, I primarily help those struggling with anxiety, stress, low-self esteem, and life transitions. I work with adults across the lifespan and have a specialty working with young adults. Having worked in a college counseling center for several years, I have a great deal of experience helping emerging adults navigate coming into their own while managing the challenges that accompany that stage of life.

I'm a licensed psychoanalyst in private practice currently seeing children, adolescents, and adults virtually and in-person in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I specialize in matters related to the body, wants and desires, as well as relationships of all kinds. I also have expertise working with people who are struggling with anger, traumatic events, feeling stuck, or who simply feel like something's not quite right. Whether using play therapy with children or working psychodynamically with adults, I approach the therapeutic process as a collaboration to gain insight and support meaningful change.
