I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in NY and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I graduated from Hofstra University in 2018 with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling, Graduate with Distinction. My internship was completed at a clinic for substance use and mental health services. After graduating from Hofstra University, I worked part-time as an Evaluation Assistant for a Forensic Psychologist. Following that, for 2 years I held the position of Coordinator of Mental Health Services, Group Therapist, and Individual Therapist at a practice that offers affordable psychiatric services.

Currently, I working as a part-time Psychotherapist for a clinic that supports the low-income community- for all ages. As well as holding the position of Psychotherapist, I am a Clinical Supervisor MHC Interns and MHC-LPs. I am currently on the Board of Directors as well as a Volunteer Meeting Facilitator for SMART Recovery NYC. In 2023, I completed the SMART Recovery Training for Professionals.

I have extensive experience working with clients ages 18 and up for Individual Therapy as well as Group Therapy. I have experience working with Individuals experiencing a variety of struggles. These struggles include- depression, anxiety, shame, mood disorders, addictions, maladaptive behaviors, life transitions, self-esteem, and managing anger, among others. In addition, I have experience leading Group Therapy sessions on various topics such as Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Emotion Regulation, and everyday challenges.

In sessions, I emphasize the importance of self-compassion and the use of mindfulness in everyday life. I also prioritize creating a safe, warm, and non-judgemental space for all. I implement an Integrative Approach including- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Harm Reduction, SMART Recovery Tools, and most importantly, humor. After all, Humor is healing.
