Life can be very difficult at times. A skilled and caring therapist who listens and understands can be very important in helping with the changes that life sometimes requires of us. My goal is to help you feel less distress and more satisfaction in daily life through an improved understanding of how your mind works and a strengthening of your core capabilities and sense of self.
There are often patterns in how we relate to ourselves and the world around us. These patterns emerge from your mind's "central organizing principles," which are often unconscious. I can help you understand these and move forward so that you feel more calm, confident, and satisfied.
All relationships can have conflict. If you spend enough time with anyone, conflicts will eventually arise. I help couples and families manage conflict and create stronger connections. If you are struggling maybe it's time to see an experienced therapist who will understand you and help you improve your relationships.
