Hello! The decision to begin therapy is a courageous and self-nourishing one. It's challenging to take that step back and take inventory of your life and your role in it. Therapy is a place where you can truly do exactly that in a non-judgmental, empathy driven space. We will reflect on what may need to change, and process through those feelings as a team. I practice through a social justice, trauma-informed, and body liberationist lens. Together, we will work on understanding emotions, thoughts, and behaviors and how they work together, effective ways to label and express your feelings, and learn coping strategies to use in your everyday life. We will do this through using DBT, CBT, EMDR, and an IFS lens
