After closing my Brooklyn office, I relocated to Ithaca, NY, but see clients from NYC and throughout NY State via telehealth. My psychotherapy practice focuses on individuals and couples, ranging in age from young adults (18 and up), adults, and elderly. I strive to create a safe environment in which to explore life stressors, patterns of relating with others, and how past experiences impact the present.

Dr. Basha Silver is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Silver earned a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology-Yeshiva University and a B.A. from Colgate University. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety (e.g. social anxiety, OCD, panic, generalized anxiety) and depression. She has particular interest in addressing the unique mental health needs of women, such as reproductive-related concerns (e.g. infertility, pregnancy, PMADs) as well as a multitude of other life stressors, including relationship stressors and navigating challenging family dynamics. In addition, she also specializes in working with young adults around issues such as the transition from college, early career anxieties, and dating concerns.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor working with individuals in private practice. I hold a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from New York University and am certified in EMDR and tapping and have training in CBT & DBT. I completed advanced Eating Disorder training from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy’s Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia.

Melissa Nesle, LCSW, is a licensed psychotherapist with a private practice in downtown Manhattan since 2004 with over 20 years of experience practicing extensively with young adults, couples and families in the area of mental health and substance misuse.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples who struggle with addiction, anxiety, interpersonal issues and self-esteem. I take an action oriented approach and use Cognitive Behavioral Techniques (CBT) as well as Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to help my clients improve their lives so that we can get to what's underneath.

Dr. Birnbaum is a board-certified adult general and reproductive psychiatrist in NYC and Westchester with a special interest in perinatal mental health. Dr. Birnbaum offers psychotherapy and medication management with a warm, compassionate, and personalized style.
