Katie Morel

Psychologist, PhD

Dr. Katie Morel is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in NYC. She specializes in maternal mental health, particularly perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, reproductive issues, and perinatal loss. She also specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults with anxiety, trauma, attachment/relationship challenges, and depression. Dr. Morel uses an integrative approach, conceptualizing psychodynamically and integrating techniques from DBT and CBT. She graduated from Stanford University and received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, Brooklyn.

Most of my work with clients is virtual. I accept OON and will present a Super Bill when requested. I am In Network with a few companies and offer a low fee sliding scale for self pay.

Dr. Paul has researched and published on the complex psychosocial issues confronting contemporary families, especially families formed with advanced medical technology and third party assistance. Dr. Paul currently maintains a part-time clinical social work practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan where she specializes in loss and transition and issues associated with women’s reproductive health.

Vikas Gupta

I received my undergraduate degree from Brown University and my Ph.D. from the Derner Institute at Adelphi University; completed my internship at North Central Bronx Hospital; and completed my Postdoctoral Fellowship at The New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
