Michelle Drapkin

Dr. Michelle Drapkin is a board certified psychologist who owns/runs the Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) Center and has worked in behavioral science for over 20 years. She is the author of The Motivational Interviewing Path to Personal Change: The Essential Workbook for Creating the Life You Want from New Harbinger Publications. She held various roles as a Behavioral Scientist in industry, including leading the development and deployment of behavior change interventions at Johnson and Johnson. She held a national Motivational Interviewing training position at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and was on faculty at the University of Pennsylvania.

Kati N. Lake

Psychologist, PhD, MS, MA, MPhil

Dr. Kati N. Lake, PhD, MS, MA, MPhil (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York State and the founder of the Trauma & Mood Treatment Center LLC, her telehealth practice. She specializes in the evidence-based treatment of trauma, depressive, anxiety, reproductive mood, and obsessive and compulsive disorders. Obtaining a Ph.D. from Columbia University, Dr. Lake was trained at Columbia University Medical Center/New York State Psychiatric Institute, NewYork Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Previously, Dr. Lake served as the Vice President of Consulting at RAINN. Before joining RAINN, she was a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where Dr. Lake led teams in the development, execution, and evaluation of personnel policy across the Department of Defense’s Suicide Prevention Office and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office. Dr. Lake also served as a Schedule C political appointee at the White House, providing support to the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Dr. Lake holds a master of arts, master of science, and master of philosophy in clinical psychology with a concentration in global mental health and trauma from Columbia University. She also obtained a bachelor degree in political science and British literature with a focus on political communications from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio).

Ellen C. Cohen

Specialty areas include anxiety; stress; obsessive-compulsive challenges; creativity blocks; life transitions; self-management for chronic diseases; and adjunctive-to-medical approaches to cancer, during and after treatment. Suparna Basu

Originally from Delhi, India, Dr. Basu completed her medical training in Nepal before relocating to the United States for a psychiatric residency at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital. She started the outpatient psychiatric department at Baylor University in Irving, TX, and taught psychiatry to medical students at Texas A&M before moving into private practice.

Dr. Basu believes that building human connection is a critical aspect of practicing successful evidence-based medicine. She sees mental health as more than just the presence of specific symptoms, a diagnosis, or the medication her patients may decide to take. She gives clients the time, space, and non-judgmental attention they need during periods of crisis and enjoys collaborating with fellow clinicians, especially therapists, who she sees as an invaluable part of treatment.

Isabel A. Ghisolfi

Claire Haiman

As a clinical psychologist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, my area of specialty is somatic psychotherapy. In my previous role as Director of Counseling Services at Columbia University’s Irving Medical Center, I created the Postdoctoral Psychology Training Program in University Counseling: Trauma and Somatic Studies that focuses on issues of embodiment and intersectionality in psychotherapy with an eye toward the impact of trauma, whether that be acute trauma, developmental trauma, and/or structural trauma, such as racism, transphobia, and the like. I offer an embodied psychotherapy approach which anchors therapeutic work in awareness of sensation and uses the body as a touchstone in guiding the process.
