For over 25 years, I have specialized in working with families during the early years from birth through going to school. This is a dynamic period that often comes with many questions and challenges. I support families seeking help for issues from developmental issues such as sleep and potty training, to behavioral concerns, anxiety and depression.

I also see adults seeking treatment for mood disorders, trauma, life transitions, etc.

I am currently seeing patients via teletherapy.

Tara Starin-Basi, LCSW-R

As a trauma therapist who works with individuals, couples and (co)parents, my training includes: EMDR, Internally Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Additionally, I am a certified parent coach from Dr. Becky's Good Inside program and provide parent guidance sessions to parents and am finishing up my certification in Peri Mental Health.

I’m a clinical psychologist serving adult patients in New York and CT. I specialize in integrative CBT for adults. I have been a clinical supervisor for Columbia University’s doctoral program as well as Yale’s predoctoral fellowship program.

Danielle Shelov

Psychologist

Dr. Shelov earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. Her doctoral research was one of the pioneer clinical studies (2008) that examined the importance of yoga on both mindfulness and emotional well-being. During her training, she worked at Montefiore Hospital, Bellevue Hospital, Columbia Psychiatric Institute, and completed her APA Internship at Maimonides Medical Center. Prior to starting a private practice, Danielle worked at Columbus Park Collaborative: Day Treatment Center for Eating Disorders. Danielle frequently lectures on eating disorder treatment to other mental health professionals.
Dr. Shelov also specializes in couples work, utilizing her EFT and systems trainings.

January Massin

Dr. January Massin is a New York State Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in addiction, mood disorders and developmental transitions characteristic of young adulthood and midlife. She conducts individual, couples and group psychotherapies. Dr. Massin is also a clinical associate of The New School for Social Research.

Before starting her private practice, Dr. Massin was a supervising psychologist at Mount Sinai Hospital and an appointed faculty member at The Icahn School of Medicine.

Christina Fiorvanti

Dr. Christina Fiorvanti is a licensed psychologist in NY and DC specializing in perinatal mental health and infant and early childhood mental health. Dr. Fiorvanti supports individuals and families in their journey of preparing to become parents or welcome a baby through the childhood years, with all the joys and challenges along the way. She has expertise in parent-child relationships, child behavior, development, special needs, sleep, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Dr. Fiorvanti utilizes attachment/relationship-focused interventions alongside behavioral, cognitive behavioral, and ACT approaches. She will work collaboratively with you to find an approach and format that works best for your family's needs. 

Allyson Galishoff

Clinical Social Work/Therapist

Allyson works with clients ages 21 and up who are dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, work/life balance, relationships, grief and loss and dealing with chronic/serious illness. Using a range of tools including mindfulness, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, meaning-centered therapy and attachment theory, she will help you find meaning and purpose as you face any challenge whether it be a chronic or serious illness or a life transition, such as becoming an empty nester.
